Hello there paper heads!
For the past 10 months, I have been working for Bluecanvas (a really great art magazine & website & shop). I love the people at this company and everyday was full of laughs but I realized that my heart belonged to Olive Hue Paper Goods. I imagined myself being able to juggle these 2 areas in my life, but after months of putting in full time hours during the day and nearly another full time job for Olive Hue, I had a couple meltdowns. Trust me, lack of sleep + husband in nursing school + 2 dogs + trying to be on a diet + maintaining relationships with friends = nothing good will come out of this combo! So I came to the decision to stop working at Bluecanvas and focus back to my love for paper + design.
During all that time, I was still working hard getting orders done for my great brides + clients. I have so many great news to share with you and so many updates that are LONG overdue! Wait for it….
1. New WEBSITE!
2. NSS trip with “Mae + Olive” update
3. New custom bridal pieces
4. Sneak peeks of my new bridal collection line
5. Interview with Dana Tanamachi for “Limited Edition” series
6. Features, photoshoots, collaborations, and more!
Hope you all stick around for more updates very soon!
In the meantime, check out these great headshots that Eddie from Up Imagery took recently! We went to Orange County Performing Arts Center and immediately I spotted a Richard Serra piece. One of my all time favorite artists and the first artist that I was able to hear speak as he talked about his work and concepts. Truly magical. So I HAD to take photos in his beautiful sculpture. Thanks to Eddie for making me look good!
Check out this LINK to see the full post of all the photos.
Here are 2 that I’m considering and debating on putting on my site…which one do you prefer? all comments and suggestions welcome!

I aspire to be covered with chalk dust if I can do this everyday. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

These 2 are on my list of favorites.
This graphic designer / chalk letterer is Dana Tanamachi. I’m utterly amazed.

Recently, I did some work for a non-profit curatorial team. These two ladies are the most inspiring and passionate people I have met in a long time. I first met Angela when she booked me for her Save the Dates. She and her non-prof partner decided to start a wonderful project for LA. Negative Space is the non-profit team. They are focused on bringing art to all people, across communities within Echo Park, and organizing exhibitions in public spaces. Uber excited to help them out and hopefully I’ll be able to contribute more for them in support of this cause.
