Illustrated History…

January 31st, 2012

Found this rifling through Refinery 29. Love changing up my nail art bi-weekly. I admit, I have issues.

Enjoy these illustrations by Isabelle Rancier and this article by Gloria Chang.

Merchant No. 4

January 26th, 2012

A girlfriend of mine describes me as flamboyant because I love me some color! Although, I love how color can make a bold statement, I also love the understatement of these lovely designed wares from the online shop, Merchant No. 4…design beats color in this match.

Cheers to a New Year!

January 22nd, 2012

2012!! I can’t believe it’s already a new year…which means new goals to start fresh and start with a bang! For those who know me, last year was a doozy for us. It was a difficult year…a loss of a dear uncle to cancer, a loss of our beloved little doggy, Everest, plus a bunch of different changes that we had to face together as a family. But thankfully, we got through it all and I’m happy to say that I’m looking at this year with a new set of eyes. I can definitely say that it’s going to be hard to pull me down this year. As we’re nearing the end of January, here’s a block of photos that I’ve been taking with my new iPhone 4s (thanks to a very generous Christmas gift from my husband, I’ve caught up with the rest of the digital world!) + Instagram….I’m addicted. really. to the phone + instagram. LOVE IT.

Top row (left to right): Juneau, sweet Juneau  //  inspiration board in my workspace  //  fave new salad, chicken + arugula salad…absolutely delish!
Middle: New Year meal done right at the Gahng household  //  Donuts at babycakes in Larchmont  //  Baby Elle with the biggest chipmunk cheeks ever!
Bottom: Jabez, my nephew, turned 2 in January and is the sweetest little boy!  //  Black + White tree in Hancock Park  //  of course, back to work!
Happy New Year to all! I hope you all the best this year and many many wishes come true!
xoxo
